Catherine Buan is a graphic designer based in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from Art Center College of Design in 2021 with a BFA in Graphic Design. While she has experience in both a design studio environment as well as in-house in the fashion industry, her independent work reflects her focused interest in type design and lettering. She is inspired by typographic and graphic design history and her work experiments with the themes she finds in her research. When she’s not at her desk, she’s either hanging out with her dog or bopping around town.
